Design Details
Keeping true with Tom Kundigs love for open spaces and a connection with the environment I have designed a system where two walls are able to move on a track system. This is to try and deal with the limitation provided by having the house in a public area, when needed the walls can slide to have a open space but also when privacy is needed they can go into the closed position. This not only changes the feel of the house, (the kitchen becomes an outdoor area) but also changes the size of the house, by moving the walls out you can maximize the size within the houses walls, when they are closed the house is very compact not taking up the full boundary.
